Service
WHAT TO DO FIRST
√ Choose a representative to make decisions about the funeral arrangements.
√ If the direct family (next of kin) of the deceased is not at the place of death they must choose a representative and empower that person (through Power of Attorney) to act on their behalf.
Family should decide the type of service they desire as soon as possible to start with arrangements.
You may take into account decisions such as:
·When and where you would like the funeral ceremony to be held
·Is there going to be a viewing
·Do you want a repatriation of the body or a local cremation?
√ Contact your Consulate to inform and seek for advice.
√ If there is an insurance the family must notify the death to the insurer right away.
Our repatriation platform can help coordinate the service with all intervening parts.
